I believe most browsers wouldn't mind, except 5 Internet Explorer which treats pjpeg files 4 differently.
According to this conversation, you should accept 3 both image/pjpeg and image/jpeg from your 2 clients as upload mime types, but force 1 the image/jpeg when serving downloads.
